Hello, after we successfully connect to our PayPal account through the pop-up of the extension, there is no "back" button and if we close the pop-up it asks again to log in.

I keep getting the following error on 2.3.0.2 and have updated to your 21/3/25 version.

Any ideas?

This error is due to the product title being too long - make it shorter and it will be fine

Before login (in guest mode), it works, but after logging in, it showed the same message "The value of a field is either too short or too long", please help.

I have OC 3.0.4.0 with PayPal Checkout Integration v3.1.14 connected manually with production, when I get the to the final payment page there is just a spinning circle overy the pay button, any ideas? Thanks

version 4.0.2.3.
payment went through but the checkout never completed. it got freeze when click on pay with card. credit card was charged and paypal receive the payment too. system receive the order and order details too. Been using ver 4.0.2.3 since oct 2024 and it has not been any problem until couple weeks ago.
uninstall and install the latest paypal_commerce_platform v3.1.14. still has the same problem. now we got stuck

Can anyone help, i have tried everything and this extension works only when i rewrite the code for the checkout but still, when I agree to the T&cs, checkout page refresh and the total value mismatch with the paypal button. I am using opencart version 4.0.2.3 and default theme. it's been 5 days

Downloaded this again after one year as it did not work on journal 3 and 2.3.0.2 oc, pleased to say it now does. Card option pops up faster without the need to click another button. Processing seems faster. Payments go through fine. Hopefully the update about hard block on duplicate payments is now live as the previous version i used struggled with this.

I just have one issue and one visual problem. The visual problem is that the card input popup seems narrow, its easy enough to use, but i would like it to be wider but there seems to be no way to stretch it, and selecting large has no effect. Secondary to this, the button on the card popup, its kind of almost transparent, hard to see a solid colour on it, almost blends with the background.

as for the problem, when i select google pay and look at the front end, the checkout is constantly loading it in and it flashes off, then loads in a again, i cant get it to show.

Unfortunately, one of our clients still experienced duplicate payments with latest v3.1.14. It seems they may not be sure how to prevent this from happening on websites that receive lots of traffic and transactions.

We ended up fixing the issue internally and added our changes in a vQmod for our customers. When we told OpenCart about it and that we can share the code with them, they did not reply back. They do not believe that the duplicate issue (and spinning issue) is real. PayPal themselves told us that they have lots of complaints from OpenCart users about this, and we found others complaining about it as well.

Please help.
I have installed the 3x_v3.1.14.ocmod version, downloaded from the link provided above.
I had trouble connecting, but resolved this by doing a manual connection.
But now, my 'checkout' is constantly 'refreshing' - not sure why???
I have Opencart Version 3.0.3.2, and I have Journal 3.0.44 installed.
I currently have no way for customers to check out.

Thanks for the reply, really appreciated.
BUT, I don't have those exact options on my Journal Theme, so I didn't want to just turn things off without checking. This is what my options look like (see image at link below).

For now, I have selected 'one button' on checkout mode, and it has stopped the refreshing, but the ‘Payment Details’ part (on the checkout) is blank - is this correct?

I'm running OC 4.0.2.3 and I just updated to the latest paypal extension (3.1.14) and now when I go to the checkout page all I see is the spinner where the checkout buttons should be. No matter how long I wait, I just see the spinners.
In the paypal extension setup page, I also only see a spinner where the buttons should be (and making changes to the button settings doesn't make any difference).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the paypal extension several times, and I still have the same problem. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix this?

You need to change the code in checkout/checkout and also in extension/paypal/confirm route so that the paypal SDK and button are loaded. Somehow it took me 3 days to get it sort it with chatgpt rewritting the checkout code. I pasted it here but does allow me. send your email I will email to you.

Voglio dire la mia.. ho installato questa estensione ma non funzionava, la funzione dava in 3 rate anche se veniva disabilitata dopo qualche minuto si riattivava da sola.. ho contattato l’assistenza e non sono riusciti ad aiutarmi, anzi dopo la seconda mail non mi hanno più riposto! A mio avviso è vergognoso che in estensione sia consigliata da opencart e gli sviluppatori non sono a conoscenza di determinate problematiche… esperienza pessima sia con estensione ma sopratutto con assistenza… Tutto pessimo sotto ogni punto di vista

I am having the same issue with the settings being reset every time. This happened after upgrading to v3.1.12 (oc 3.0.4.0). It also deleted all my transaction (lucky that I have a backup) but I have to turn payments off until this is fixed.
Also, under no circumstances should you delete the transactions from paypal_checkout_integration_order.
Also, i cannot connect automatically, the paypal window does not close even after a success message.
