PayPal does not accept some requests if the HTTP/2 protocol is used. They are resolving this issue right now.
But as a quick solution, you can do the following:
- Open the file system/library/paypal/paypal.php
- Find the line CURLOPT_TIMEOUT => 10
- After it, add the line CURLOPT_HTTP_VERSION => CURL_HTTP_VERSION_1_1

Hi

This extension is now throwing up the following errors:

Cart page : "Sorry, PayPal is currently busy. Please try again later! Please choose another payment method or contact us."

Admin Extension: "Sorry, PayPal is currently busy. Please try again later!"

How could Paypal be busy?

There's also an error coming up when you try and checkout with Paypal button on Cart page: "Payer needs to perform the following action before proceeding with payment. Please choose another payment method".

I have forwarded these to Paypal support.

Exactly the same issue with my store. I opened a ticket with Paypal and also a ticket with Opencart: support@opencart.com this morning, so far no replies.

Started this morning, I've even upgraded to the latest module this morning as there was a message saying a new version was available. I've had to disable the module until this is fixed and enabled Paypal standard.

We're using OC 3.0.3.6.

If the module is working and you haven't changed anything on the site, the cause of the problem is most likely not in the module, but on PayPal's end.

So at the moment we're stuck in a position with OpenCart blaming Paypal and Paypal blaming OpenCart! I've got a ticket Open with you guys, I'm happy to provide access to my cart system so the issue can be dugged and fixed.

It's a tricky problem to solve. I changed the Paypal library timeout from 10 seconds to 100 and the Paypal endpoint still didn't respond to the curl. The docs https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/requests/ say that the endpoint is https://api-m.paypal.com while the library specifies https://api.paypal.com but having made that change, I still get the error.

We downloaded it and had an error with the connection to Paypal, it simply doesn't appear at checkout (the loading icon remains), we looked at the error log, and an error 400 appeared, as if some permission was missing with Paypal.

Now I have disconnected from payal and I can't reconnect.
Then I try a new clean test install and it can't connect.

OC 3.0.3.8

When trying to check out with Apple Pay, window pops up and quickly goes away. Was able to catch a screenshot of window. In "Ship to" section, says "Update Shipping Address" in red letters.

Shipping address for account is same for CC and Apple Pay. (Using my account to test) One think noticed when checking out, OC is not including Zip Code in address. Zip Code is also not shown as a required field with a red asterisk when adding/updating address. Any ideas?

You can do it directly in your PayPal account.

Yes, site connected to PayPal account. Same issue with Google Pay. Both say to "Update Shipping Address" Again, only thing I
see is zip code is not included during checkout process.

I have the following problem with the older version of this module:

When activated, the payment button on each product works perfectly, but in the checkout area it shows an error: the floating window does not appear in the same way that it appears in the products area. The one that appears has errors as seen in the attached image.

If I update the plugin to the most recent version, then the button does not appear, not even next to the products!

We are also experiencing the same issue and contacted their support 3 weeks or so ago. We spent about a week with them but they claim it's on our end. Now that you are also experiencing this (and potentially others too), we may have a better chance at getting them to resolve this. We are investigating on our end as well but no resolution yet.

If you are using the default theme and the default checkout module, then it is our responsibility. But if you are using custom templates and custom checkout modules, then the problem might be in those. Each case is individual.

I cant get it to activate, i click the edit and it says to connect, i leave the defaults of Automatic and Production, i then sign into my paypal account and it says it is linked to opencart, i then close the paypal box and leave it and nothing happens and then if i go back to payments it is showing as disabled still?

I have exact same problem, support tells me. "Hi. You need to log in to PayPal first. If for some reason you can't do it automatically, you can do it manually by selecting the manual authorization mode and filling in the fields client id, secret and merchant id."
I tried logging in first , it made no difference.
I cannot find the manual mode, i only have the option of "connect" and choose production or sandbox. Support didnt tell me where i find such a button for manual mode. Where is paypal standard, im was ok with that. All this messing around.
just saying open a supprt ticket doesnt help others in the same boat.

Hello,

I installed the PayPal Checkout Integration extension but the checkout button isn't working.

Clicking the PayPal button opens a pop-up window that loads indefinitely.
Clicking the Debit or Credit button has the same issue.
Clicking the Pay with card button also has the same problem.

I contacted support and provided access to my server and website over a week ago, but I haven't received any response. Support is shameful.

I would put 4 stars, it works... but
1. At admin they screwed with Client ID and Murchant ID
2. ApplePay: two different files from extension and from PayPal:
apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
domain-association-file-live
So G Pay works, but ApplePay does not

Apple Pay works on Apple mobile devices and MacBook if you have connected iCloud with a payment card.
If you do not see the Apple Pay button on your iPhone, you need to check the settings.

I installed PayPal Checkout Integration extension, connected to my sandbox paypal account.
i set enable for paypa, and card
but on the checkout process the button didnt work

- i click paypal button, its open pop up windows and then close immediatly
- i click Debit or Credit button nothing happen
- i click Pay with card button nothing happen.
