Hi Guys, I am based in Ireland, and when I click on the Debit Card payment option, it defaults to the UK. How can I change the default country to Ireland? ( I am using OC 2.3.0.2, OC language settings are set to Ireland) , thanks

It determines your region based on your IP address.

My IP location is in Ireland, not UK. there has to be some API request with the local code, but I can't find where I can change it and on which files, any help ?

If an order is paid through PayPal, a corresponding tab will appear in the order where you can add tracking details.

Hello,

I installed the latest version (3.1.3) but now Paypal doesn't works.

When you click to pay at checkout page it opens a modal box with a "Confirm" button and then opens a new modal but it doesn't wokrs "just loading". Please check screenshot.

This doesn't work on opencart version 4.1.0.0 , same issues as Sanyamatma reported, edit button never appears after installing the extension.

I've used Opencart for 10 years - 3.0.3.2.
I'm currently cloning the site to version 4.0.3.2 and cannot get PayPal checkout integration to work after days of effort.

I'm logged into my account, everything looks good at the admin side and on the website except for it doesn't work because the buttons never appear.

In the Admin: edit paypal - buttons, the buttons never appear and the spinning wheel keeps spinning. Usually the paypal buttons appear almost instantly when changing button size, colour, alignment etc.

On Checkout: the 'buy now' button never appears, instead the spinning wheel just keeps spinning, with a faint version of the button below.

I've tried several downloads and even bought a 5$ paid version in the hope this would work. I've also copied each file into the folders using ftp transfer in the hope that would work.

What am I missing? Many thanks!

I only retail downloads. All sales require the customer to have an account to access the downloads now and in the future. Having a Paypal quick checkout isn't registering the account properly. I'm having to manually create the customer account with fictitious details, write to and apologise to the customer for the inconvenience! If I could turn off the buttons on the cart and product pages it would defeat the object of the extension, but it would help. The module won't allow it. If I turn off the status on product or cart, it turns them all off all in one go.

I've been in touch with Jack Leask and Alejandro Frutos Fernandez from Paypal and I have installed all recent updates including 7th June, I still can't turn off the status. Please advise.

I agree that should work, but it doesn't work for me.

When I turn the status 'OFF' on the product page, it turns OFF the cart and checkout page as well.

When I turn the checkout page back 'ON', the product and cart page go 'ON' as well.

They all can be OFF or ON . I can't seem to have only the checkout ON, which is what I need.

We are only responsible for the module. If you want to find out whether PayPal is available in a particular country, you need to contact PayPal directly.

When I view an order through Admin which was has been paid by Paypal (inc Apple Pay, Google Pay) the the order status changes to Completed.
This has only started with Paypal version 3.1.1

Does anybody else have this problem?

Just received a feedback from my customer that the cart total after coupon code is not applied to Paypal checkout. The total on Paypal checkout reverted to original price before coupon code. Am I missing something here?

Because the system, after entering the courier and the tracking ID, changes the status of the order 2 times, that is, it first adds shipped (OK is fine) but also the "cashed" status, which is not good because I had already done so when I cashed the authorization.

I installed and tested Apple Pay from the product page on 2 different websites from this new update and am experiencing an error message upon processing the payment via Apple Pay with the message: "the value of a field does not conform to the expected format. Please choose another payment method or contact us."

Also, the entire checkout, including PayPal and Credit/Debit Cards, does not work in Safari browsers on mobile devices when the "Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement" setting is checked in Safari settings.

Are you sure you have activated Apple Pay in your PayPal account? Have you linked a domain name to your PayPal account?

Double checked and connection is good and active, so must be something with the update. However, regarding the other issue I was having, I want to add that I worked with my host to fix the issue about the Privacy Preserving Ad measurement: the fix was adding this to my htaccess:

Header always set Content-Security-Policy: upgrade-insecure-requests

Hope this helps anyone else having this issue with iphones / safari and using the checkout.
