As of right now (May 2024) is Apple/Google Pay now available via this PayPal extension in the UK? Those are not available in the UK if using the old PayPal Express extension.

On iPhones using safari with the setting “privacy preserving ad measurement” checked within the safari settings, it causes the buttons and payment area for this extension to endlessly load. Confirmed this is what’s causing it, and I’ve had many customers not able to check out because of this (Apple auto recommends doing this and most people say yes upon setting up their iPhones). Don’t know if there’s a workaround but figured I would post about this so that it’s known! Also, we have customers call all the time and say “do I have to have a PayPal account to check out” because the text defaults to “PayPal, Card”. We fix this by changing it to “Credit/Debit Card or PayPal Account”, may help others too. Keep up the amazing work!

Hello,
OC version: 3.0.3.3
Module: PayPal Checkout Integration 3x_v3.0.5
Country: UK
When customer is paying with ApplePay or GooglePay the customer's telephone number and email address are not included in the order details.
In our PayPal account we have selected the option to include the customer's telephone number. But this has made no difference.
It is important that telephone and email address are included in the order details. But they are currently not.
I can't raise a support ticket because there is no order ID for the download of this module.
Help please!

Hi
Versions being used:
Paypal Checkout Integration "oc_3x_v3.0.5"
Opencart Version 3.0.3.8
One final issue I am experiencing is as follows:
- - - -
When customer is paying via Apple Pay or Google Pay it does not bring over the following order data:
a) Customer phone number
or
b) Customer email address
The order goes through to the backend but the above two pieces of information are not added to order details. Which is very weird.
- - - -
These two pieces of information are vital for couriers so we can ship the order.
What's even more weird is we have received 3 other orders from Apple Pay WITH the customer email and phone. Not sure how it works for 3 orders and not for 9 orders?
I emailed support about 5 days ago and got no reply. I am also speaking to a Paypal technical guy. The narrative is "problem at our end or Apple's end".
Peoples thoughts.

Bug Reporting:
If the user clicks on Google Pay or Apple Pay button on product or cart page and then confirm their payment, they are redirected to the PayPal Confirm page. There the Payment Method appears as blank! You need to add the following code to the file: catalog\view\theme\default\template\extension\payment\paypal\confirm.twig
Right before this line:
{% for payment_method in payment_methods %}

I am glad to hear that soon you will implement partial refunds, please dont forget "partial capture" . The ability to perform basic functions from the order admin is paramount. Those include: VOID, Partial Capture and Partial Refund. In many businesses it is a real possibility that we can only ship part of the order and therefore, by law, we cannot charge the full order amount. Similarly, it happens a lot that we have to make partial refunds for multiple reasons (late order, minor damages, etc. Please hurry. PayPal is breathing down my neck to complete this upgrade. EX

OC 2.3.0.2, PayPal Checkout Integration 3.0.4, Journal Theme v2. On mobile-sized view the PayPal logos are overlaying the Add to Cart button (screenshot below.) I've tried different sized product page buttons. I'm not seeing an option for setting margin. Thanks!

Using OC 4.0.2.3 & PPICE 3.0.4
The payment stuff all seems to work fine, but it appears to have broken my ability to delete customers via the admin side. Whenever I try to delete a customer, it fails, and an error is logged: "Error: Could not load model Opencart\Admin\Model\Extension\Payment\Paypal!" by the ../system/engine/loader.php.
