Every so often we are seeing duplicate transactions come through, is there a way to prevent/fix this? We are paying a lot of refund fees because of this and our customers are upset. This seems to only occur when they use the advanced card feature and only happens sometimes, somewhere between 1-10% of our orders. Using 3.0.3.8.

Please download the latest version and install it.

Also, you can try the Authorization Settlement Method instead of the Sale Settlement Method. In this case, you will need to approve or decline every transaction.

So, you will not need to issue a refund.

Thank you so much, great support! Not really wanting to do the authorization because this leaves the easy mistake of our sales team accidentally not capturing a payment, so hoping the fix you implemented helps. Again, thank you for the fast support and great extension!!!

Using OC 3.0.2.0
The new PayPal Integrated Checkout Extension 3.0.3
The Dashboard's Pay Later button no longer has text or a link. That button send me back to my OpenCart Admin login. Is this a bug in the new 3.0.3 Extension?

im using OC 4 0 2 3.
My paypal tells me new version
"New PayPal Checkout Integration version available. You can download it here!"
going to that page it says last updare 26/3/24. but when i click on the blue download button, it throws me out and i have to log in again. when i see the list, it seems i have the lastest version "paypal_commerce_platform v3.0.21"
dont know which one im supposed to update to ??

Hello. I am using the PayPal Checkout Integration plugin (OC 3.0.3.8). When paying for an order, some of them are returned with the PayPal Seller Protection - NOT_ELIGIBLE error. Maybe you know the reason?

If no shipping method and address are specified when placing an order, you will see this message "PayPal Seller Protection - NOT_ELIGIBLE"

I upgraded the paypal method on my site ( OC 3.0.3.7 ) and everything seems to work fine, but
1) If I leave the buttons enabled on Cart or Product and a user clicks it, it goes directly to the payment process without asign the adress and all billing info. Is that by design ?
2) I noticed that previously my orders had seller protection and now it doesnt. Is this also by design ?
3) I also noticed that a sale on UK was deducting a sales tax that was not supposed to be. and it was calculated from
the retail price instead of the discounted ( what the customer paid ). That means a 80% sale, with a 20% tax will thorw a zero net profit.

1) This issue has been resolved in the latest version of the module.

There is a problem with payments on mobile phones, it seems to be difficult to debug and it
happens occassionaly only but certain customers had made double payments with the module and i was wondering why that happens. I am not yet sure how to properly debug this but apparently it only happens when you are on a mobile phone. It seems that the redirect is not working properly and it shows the "checkout/checkout" route again although the transaction passed and you even get a order confirmed mail.

I have two separate stores, both use Journal 3.1.12 and Opencart version 3.0.3.8. I would love to use this extension, as when it works, it's amazing, but as others have stated below, after a few hours of enabling the extension, the product pages will not fully load (think it's from the pay later messaging), and also when going to the checkout (using the default opencart checkout), it spins forever upon step 5 and customers are unable to check out. I keep re installing it every few weeks on both sites to see if it's been fixed, but no fix as of yet. I should also mention that both sites use Cloudflare as well and the Lightning speed module. Barely any other extensions.

I'd be very surprised if you managed to get any payment extension to work:
Journal3 (poor quality framework)
CloudFlare (slows down your site, unreliable prompts)
Lighting speed (there are better solutions)

Ok, I have removed Cloudflare and have disabled lightning and will report back in a few days if I do not have any issues. Are you saying that this extension is not fully compatible with Journal? And can you let me know if there are speed extensions that you would recommend using if not lightning?

all of our orders are for pickup at the store is there any way to stop the shipping address from being sent to PayPal, I didn't see any setting for this on the setting of the module...
like shipping required = no,
something like PayPal Standart or PayPal Express... that even tho the products are set to shipping you can still set the shipping required to 0 for no...

Clean fresh install OpenCart 4.0.2.3. SQL 8.1 (tried also 8.2,8.3)
After PayPal Checkout Integration is Enabled, there is no way to choose payment method during the checkout. After disabling, the same Cart (Basket) works well with Payment method selection. So the issue caused by PayPal integration only.
Store logs show this:

I using 3.0.3.2 , After installed it and show: " The API caller or the merchant on whose behalf the API call is initiated is not allowed to vault the given source. Please contact PayPal customer support for assistance. Please choose another payment method or contact us."

had an earlier version, card finally worked fine but wasnt able to use google or apple pay and pay later would break with spinning circle, also, my error log is filled up with so many warnings from this extension each day it asks me to clear it... today noticed an update in the extension so excited, i installed it. It broke the card payment making it even worse. I had to revert backup of files and database to restore, and it caused so much time to be wasted for nothing. I run on 2.3.0.2 with journal 3.1.11 could someone help install this properly minus the issues and errors in log? cheers. I already emailed support
