There seems to be an issue with this extenion and 3.0.x.x OC release (I'm not sure it may apply to other OC versions) . The pay letter settings are not saved. TIf you uncheck some of the boxes , homepage, cart, product page for example then click save the chnages are not save/appplied

Is it possible to use this module in the same way as the old Paypal Standard worked? It appears as a simple payment method on the Journal one-page checkout, the customer selects it, then after pressing the order button, it transfers them to Paypal's own interface, where they can pay with a credit card, and then brings them back to the success/failed page?

This is an OpenCart extension, not a Journal extension. Use at your own risk, the Journal3 single-page checkout has some known reported issues, but the Journal3 developers never respond on the OpenCart forum, nor on the github.com/opencart !

The latest OC 3.0.x.x has some further fixes for the PayPal V3.0.0 extension!
Try it out.

nb: don't try to install on a local instance (localhost) - a never ending story (loop) without any success!

Yes, because WHERE is the mentioned site and WHAT IS the solution to the "authentication" problem??
Instead of posting a wrong link to a repo of an external developer (dreamvention is only another developer and not OpenCart) which does not exist (and is not under the control of OpenCart), it would be good for all here to write the solution.

btw: had the same problem, but after a site refresh (or calling the extension again), the PayPal integration seems to work - beside the fact of beeing "not OpenCart Standard" layout and display.

nb: this extension works also with OpenCart 3.0.4.0 (former 3.0.x.x branch at GitHub).
So it should also work on 3.0.3.9 (not tested yet by myself) ..

What I additionally did, was to update the extension to latest release 3.0.0 > https://github.com/Dreamvention/paypal/releases/tag/v3.0.0

Ah okay, see right now that the FAQ page is back again.
But what is suggested there is NOT always correct!
Why should I use another browser - what for?
It works also with (e.g.) FireFox.

Another wrong suggestion there is to check any .htaccess files for <IfModule> ... </IfModule>
Because when no .htaccess is used (or enabled) this tip does nothing.

Final note: don't try an installation on a local instance - the output will be the same (and has nothing todo with browsers and/or apache or anything else ..).
It does simply not work.

Hello;
I enabled Paypal Checkout Integration but I have some troubles.
I have messages and buttons i want to disable on pages. For example, i have on the homepage the message saying that it's possible to pay x4.
On the prodcuct page i want to hide the paypal button.
I don't see in the setting section of the extension where we can do it.
Could youp please help?

- You can disable it in "Pay Late Messaging" tab.

Any way to auto fill the customer details when they chose debitcard / creditcard?
Im using the credit card button (disabled advance cards) and it asks invoice adress again,

Im using the awesome dquickcheckout extension aswel but it should be able to just get the invoice adress automaticly ?

It causes my shop to freeze on every page for atleast a second.
When this extention is disabled it works perfectly fine.

When enabled it throws a Third-party cookie will be blocked. Learn more in the Issues tab. in the developer console.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what's going on. All linked up OK to my Paypal account, but orders placed go straight to 'Missing Orders', Paypal returns to the checkout page, not the 'Success' page, and no sales are logging on the Extension dashboard. OC. 3.0.3.3. Journal 3. Any ideas?

Got the Webhooks working on Developer end, so it looks like transactions are completing OK, but orders going straight through to 'Missing' and customers are just returned to checkout without any notification that the transaction has been succesful.

Hey, I've downloaded the 2.3.0.2 version of this extension and installed it, after uninstalling all other PayPal extensions.

However, I don't see any new extension named PayPal Checkout Integration.
Not sure what went wrong. Is there anything I can check?

not all buttons settings set in admin are working correct. Button size and align has no effect, always same size and align to left. Can You please check this. Checked on Chrome browser.

Installed on a OC version 2.3.0.2 and when you go to step 6 I have a bunch of warnings in Chrome. Like: "A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received"
Also seems to interfere with square payment method.
