New Google Breadcrumbs requirements 2020 fix Journal 2
Are you getting messages from google console "Breadcrumbs issues detected on https://yoursite.com"? Yes, google have made some changes and have new requirements for the structured data scheme starting 2020.
Google changes the requirements for the breadcrumbs in 2020 and the old data-vocabulary.org will no longer be supported. All the sites that have breadcrumbs with data-vocabulary.org are starting to get warnings from 20.01.2020 in the google search console with recommendation to fix it. The pages that don't have their structured data updated may face decreased organic visibility and less traffic.
As a replacement of the data-vocabulary.org, Schema.org structured data scheme is to be used to be eligible for Google rich results features. So, if you are running OpenCart store with Journal 2 and don't want your SEO to be affected and your site to drop in the google search positions - this is the right extension for you.
The extension restructures the code and replaces the "already old style data-vocabulary.org with the supported from google schema.org structured data scheme.
Covers all pages(product, category, manufacturer, information and so on)
