If your error log is over 5Mb, you have to download the file to be able to investigate problems as Opencart doesn't display them.

This extension:

1. Warns you on the dashboard page that the error log is getting too large
   
2. Allows you to see the most recent 200 errors without having to download the file

Simply upload the downloaded file by going to Extensions > Installer
