Social Media Icons Pro For Free

This Social Media Icons mod is a simple and perfect tool to link your website to your social networks.

The main reason for me making and releasing this is due to the lack of actual free ones out there... to many people tricking you into downloading a demo. This mod is 100% free there is no pro version or upgrade.

This is my first OCMOD i have released, so feedback would be good. Also go easy on me if something goes wrong.
I have tested this on standard theme no changes and fresh install, i have also tested this on another running shopping cart that has had LOTS of custom work done to it. All results are working fine.
If someone knows how i can add options to this so end users can have a box to choose their own colours then please get in touch.

This is an OCMOD so no files are changed from your original or themed designs. This mod will leave any custom files you have alone and wont cause any conflicts, however if you do run into a problem just uninstall it and problem goes away.

There are a few choices of colours for you already including colour match on header and the OC blue on the footer.

I will also add other colours upon request, however if you know what you are doing you are welcome to change the colours yourself via the XML file (You will need to download a coloured version first). However you are not permitted to make any other changes without permission.

Alternativly you could use the extension CUSTOM JS & CSS - DOWNLOAD HERE and place this code in it

Change the HEX Colours to suit you
Some themes may require you to add !important to the css codes

Installation is as simple as 1, 2, 3!

1) Download
2) Install via admin panel (Extensions \ Installer)
3) Refresh Modules (Sometimes THEME refresh may be needed from dashboard) DO NOT refresh the SASS

UPDATE: 03/01/2021
Since the release of 3.0.3.5 OC has changed some things which broke my extension.
I have now added a fix for this, please download the fix and then it will work fine.

I will update this fix into my next release along with some new social medias too.


UPDATE: 19/04/2020
I have added another version which has FOLLOW US before the icons... not sure if you wanted it but someone made a comment that just said follow us... so i assumed this is what they wanted.
I only did this change to the ACTUAL ICONS version so now there are 2 versions for this.
All previous versions are the same as first release.
