Category group
The module is designed to divide a large number of categories into their own groups
As for example in the screenshot you can see the division by car type
You can set for a group of categories:
The list of categories will display the group if assigned
In the parent category where groups will be displayed you will need to activate the status
And in the child categories already select your own group for the category
Works on all versions 2.x and 3.0. x

Installation like a normal modifier
set permissions for the desired group catalog/category_group
go to the category group and create the necessary groups

Image
Alt / Title of the image
Image size
Customize the display of categories in each group set your own photo styles and sizes
When editing, set the desired categories immediately (If a group is set for the category, it will not be overwritten and will show the occupied categories )
