Parcel Perfect is the software that powers multiple courier companies around the world and their API provides live rates for those courier companies. If the courier company you are using does not have a dedicated live rates extension for Opencart and uses Parcel perfect to power their ecommerce systems, then this extension will allow you to get live rates at checkout. Simply contact your courier company and get an API URL, Username and Password plus a list of the 3 letter codes for the services they offer.

Some examples of these service codes are as follows:

1 : ONX - Overnight Express
2: RDF - Road Freight
3: ECO - Economy

You can add all the services you wish to get live rates for or just one or two preferred services you would like to use. This extension also allows you to add a shipping padding cost to the data returned from the server to cover for packaging or potential under calculations.

NB: It is important to note. The accuracy of this extension is based on the quality of the data in your store. If your products have missing weights and dimensions then it could result in no results being returned and if the data is not correct then the system could over/underestimate costs at checkout.
