The MasterCard Payment Gateway Services modules for OpenCart enable you to quickly and reliably integrate to take payments via your website.

Mastercard and On Tap Networks have partnered together to bring you this official Mastercard Payment extension for Opencart websites. This module is built and managed by On Tap in association with Mastercard.

The module adds a payment method to the checkout enabling credit and debit card payments to be accepted securely and to minimize PCI exposure. The module supports the customer entering their payment information in the Mastercard secure PCI certified environment so that web shop never comes into contact with customer data. Optionally, the module supports taking the payment data directly into OpenCart and then utilising the Direct API to transmit it to Mastercard.

The modules provide 2 integration models:

1. Hosted Checkout
This model allows you to collect payment details from your buyer through an interaction hosted and displayed by the Mastercard Payment Gateway. With this model of integration, you never see or handle payment details directly because these are collected by the hosted payment interface and submitted directly from the payer's browser to the Mastercard Payment Gateway.

2. Hosted Session
If you want control over the layout and styling of your payment page, while reducing PCI compliance costs, then you need to choose Hosted Session integration. This enables you to collect sensitive payment details from the payer in payment form fields, sourced from and controlled by Mastercard Payment Gateway.

Other Features:

* Direct API - Allows merchants to capture customers’ payment details directly on their website, suitable for larger merchants who are higher level (SAQ-D or Level-1) PCI compliant.

* One stage bank card processing - Standard bank card processing enabling merchants to process transactions using the single stage (auth) model. Useful if the merchant wants to settle funds as soon as possible.

* Two stage bank card processing - Allows merchants to accept payments where authorisation is obtained during the checkout process, but funds are not deducted from the shopper’s credit/ debit card until the bank receives a fulfil request from the merchant (via MasterCard Payment Gateway Services) which indicates that goods are ready to be shipped.

* 3-D Secure - Ability to authenticate cardholders using 3-D Secure. Module supports both 3D Secure v1 and 3D Secure v2.

* Address Verification and Security Code policies - Ability to control the outcome of a transaction based on the address and security code check undertaken by the acquirer.

* Card Tokenization - Ability to store tokens for use in subsequent payments. Avoids the need for the customer to enter their card numbers every time they make a purchase.

* Online Fraud Screening - Ability to screen transactions via the industry leading online fraud prevention tool GateKeeper:2.0.

* Refund - Module supports both Full and Partial refund for the orders.
