This extension adds some missing needs to native Opencart Downloads - type of download (free or paid), description of files, status (active or inactive), links instead of files, messages to the user when downloading and many-many more!

Free product downloads are suitable for providing users with documentation, instructions, specifications, drivers, catalogs, video links, and more.

This information is displayed to customers in an adequate way in the download section of their account, or directly in the product page. In addition, the name and description can now contain HTML formatting, and a visual editor can be optionally loaded for the description in the text area!

Another very useful feature has been added: instead of download files, you can now also enter links in the form. They can be on the same or another server. In this case, the client is shown a button to link to the respective resource instead of a download button. This could be a PDF file, another document, and a downloadable file elsewhere!

It is now possible to link products to files directly from the download form! Also, in downloads list a new column is added: Linked products.

• Upload downloads directly from the product page with progress bar indicator. The uploaded file is automatically saved in the database and associated with the product.
