OpenCart SMS Notification - This extension allows the customer to receive text messages to get confirmation of the account creation, account update, purchasing the product, and any update in the order.

With the help of this module, the admin can send notifications confirmation to their customers regarding their account and product.

The admin can notify the customers of their registered mobile number.
The customer gets notified about their registration to the store, about particular account creation, account updates, and placed orders as well as if any updates are in order.







Use Case

Nowadays, people want confirmation after applying for and purchasing any product from an online store. This module helps the admin to get confirmation with four aspects of an online store.

Customers will receive an instant text SMS notification on their mobile phones through SMS service providers.

Customers will get confirmation related to account and order. At the time of account creation the customer will get confirmation that the account has been created and if there is any information update in the customer profile then also the customer gets alert SMS that information is updated.

In addition, customers will also receive text messages when they will purchase any product and when the admin will do any updates to the product.

Workflow

After the module installation, the admin can make the settings like; enable the module. Then select an SMS service provider. In this module, 3 SMS services provider is available.

Now, the admin can select any one SMS service provider and mention all details of the service provider.
After that, select the order to add/edit the template, registration template, and order status template.

Twilio
In Twilio, the admin will fill in details of Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and Phone number.


Clicksend Notification
In Clicksend, the admin needs to fill in details of Clicksend Username, API Key, and Country To Send SMS.


MSG91 Notification
In the MSG91 notification, the admin needs to fill in details of Msg91 Auth Token, Sender Id, and Country To Send SMS.



SMS Template
In this module, the admin can set an SMS template for account creation, account update, an order placed, and order update.


In addition, the admin can customize the template of SMS. To customize the SMS template, click on Opencart SMS Notification > SMS Template.


SMS Notifications
Customers will receive SMS at the time they will create an account, update their account, place an order, and with an update on placed order.
Account creation
Customers will receive the SMS notification when they will creating a new account.


Account Updation
After doing any changes and updates to customer profile information the customer will receive a text message on their mobile number,


Order placed
Customers will purchase any product. Then the order is placed by the customer when they will receive an SMS notification.


Order updation
Customers will receive the SMS notification when the admin will do any updates to the product.
