I created a dark mode extension for the admin and the themes you use. In doing so, I was inspired by this extension that was not working and Darkmode.js.

Extension is ocmod and does not write to any core files. Just install extension and refresh modification. It's add darkmode switch on header in admin and add fixed icon on your theme.
