Description
This extension adds a sending limit to the Marketing → Mail feature in OpenCart. In other words, it throttles the ougoing mail.
If your hosting or email provider restricts the number of messages you can send (e.g., 100 emails per hour), this module helps ensure you stay within those limits.
Failing to follow the limits may result in emails silently disappearing — your host won't log them, and you won’t know whether they were delivered.
The module also includes logging of sent messages, so you can review which emails were successfully delivered.
You can set:

• How many emails can be sent per interval
  
• The reset time for the email quota
  
• The cron job interval (recommended: every 5 minutes)

The module adds a field in admin that generates the cron command for you. When you start a marketing campaign in Marketing → Mail, emails are no longer sent immediately. Instead, each cron run checks how many emails have been sent within the current period. If space is available, it sends what it can. If the limit has been reached, sending is postponed to the next cron run.
