Opencart 4 doesn't allows upgrading or overriding existing installations.



The only way is to uninstall, remove and disable existing extension and then install like a fresh installation of themes, pluigns or extensions.

Uninstalling could remove settings , configs too

So there should be an option in installer to override existing installation and preserve existing settings and don't have to do the hastle too





How to use :

Upload in installer, in the list below press install
Go to extensions > modules > Installer override > install > edit > enable
Then you will see an override checkbox in installer with upload button
Check this box to override existing installation --> upload --> then press install from list
