DataImpex Users & Orders is a practical OpenCart module for exporting and importing customers and orders using CSV or ZIP. It helps when you need to move data between stores, prepare files for Excel, or share structured data with accounting and external systems. The format is clear and predictable, so you can work with the files without extra steps in the admin panel.

Customer export is generated as customers.csv and, if needed, a separate customer_addresses.csv. The customers.csv file contains data from the customer table, plus the customer group name from customer_group_description. The customer_addresses.csv file exports addresses from the address table and adds readable country and region names from country and zone.

Customer import supports several workflows: add new customers, update existing ones, or run “insert only” mode. You can match records by email or by customer_id. During import, the module automatically sets customers as approved, so they can sign in without the “account requires approval” warning. If address import is enabled, addresses are taken from the main customer file and also from customer_addresses.csv.

Order export is created as orders.csv from the order table with store details added from the store table. You can also export order parts as separate CSV files: order_products.csv from order_product, order_options.csv from order_option, order_totals.csv from order_total, and order_histories.csv from order_history. This structure keeps the dataset complete while staying close to the database logic and relationships.

Order import includes flexible modes: insert with new IDs, keep original IDs, replace existing orders, or skip existing ones. There are also options to create a customer during order import and link orders to customers by email. This makes it easier to restore correct customer-order connections without manual fixes.
