Recover lost revenue by automatically turning abandoned carts into completed orders. This extension tracks when customers add products to their cart but leave without checking out, then sends timely reminder emails (with optional discount coupons) to bring them back and complete their purchase. It works with both registered customers and guests (when an email address is available) and includes reporting so you can see exactly how much revenue you’ve recovered.

Key features

Automatic cart tracking – Detects when carts become inactive after a time you choose and marks them as abandoned. Supports registered users and, optionally, guests when an email is available.
Flexible reminders – Send up to three reminder emails per cart with fully configurable delays (for example 24h, 72h, 168h). Reminders can be sent automatically via cron or manually from the admin panel.
One‑click cart restoration – Each email includes a secure “Restore my cart” link that refills the customer’s cart and sends them back to checkout, with conversions tracked for reporting.
Customizable email templates – Edit the subject and content for each reminder using variables for store name, customer name, cart products, totals, restore link, and coupon details.
Built‑in reporting & analytics – See total abandoned carts, converted carts, conversion rate, emails sent, and recovered revenue. Analyze monthly trends and discover which products are abandoned most often.
Optional AI assistance – Integrate OpenAI or Google Gemini to generate personalized reminder text, suggest discount levels within your margin limits, and power an optional AI chatbot widget or WhatsApp recovery messages (with optional admin approval before sending).
Admin tools & logs – Filter, search, and bulk‑manage abandoned carts from a dedicated list in admin. View email and cart logs to verify that tracking and reminders are working as expected.
How it works

Once enabled, the extension records carts when customers add products. If no order is placed within your configured time threshold and the cart meets your value rules, it is marked as abandoned and becomes eligible for reminders. A cron job or URL trigger can then send reminder emails at the intervals you define. When a customer clicks the restore link and completes their order, the cart is marked as converted so you can clearly measure recovered revenue.
