The extension scans the entire image/ directory recursively, including subfolders, validates image files, removes invalid cache files, repairs broken original image entries with placeholder fallback logic, and provides a safe dry-run preview before any real action is applied.

It also includes a powerful Category Image Auto Fill system. If a category image is empty, the extension can automatically assign an image from related products using one of these strategies:

First active product
Latest added product

You can run actions for:

Only empty categories
All categories
Only selected categories

Installation
OpenCart 3.x
Go to Admin > Extensions > Installer
Upload ALLB_Image_Guard_Pro_OC3_4Lang.ocmod.zip
Go to Extensions > Extensions > Modules
Find ALLB Image Guard Pro
Click Install
Click Edit and configure the module
Refresh modifications and clear theme/system cache if needed
OpenCart 4.x
Go to Admin > Extensions > Installer
Upload ALLB_Image_Guard_Pro_OC4_4Lang.ocmod.zip
Install the extension from the installer list
Go to Extensions > Extensions > Modules
Find ALLB Image Guard Pro
Click Install
Configure the module

For OpenCart 4, the official documentation expects packaged extensions to include install.json and the extension files directly in the ZIP root, which this packaging approach follows.

Important Notes
Always run Dry-Run Preview first on a live store
It is recommended to keep a backup before bulk image operations
Placeholder-based repair is intended to keep catalogs visually consistent where original image files are invalid or missing
Category auto-fill uses related product data already available in your store database
