Product Images Slideshow (OC 2.x)
The extension makes all product images to show in a slider. The lightbox remains enabled.
It uses the default slider script included in OpenCart so it doesn't add any additional scripts and it's mobile-friendly.
There is option to enable/disable auto play and to choose different transition effects.
