Overview
You can now specify the cost price of each product. Quickly view how profitable your products are and plan price adjustments accordingly.

Control the selling price of individual products by specifying profit parameters such as profit, margin and markup percentages! The price is recalculated on-the-fly!

Select a TAX Class for a product and view the selling price including tax. No need to go to the catalog pages anymore just to see the final price!

Set the final selling price (including tax) at will!

Assign Supplier information to each product for quick referencing. Useful for when looking up cost prices in product catalogs.

Description
Six editable fields are added in the Product Form page of the Administration Panel:

  • Selling Price including tax
  • Cost price
  • Profit (eg. price-cost)
  • Profit margin (eg. profit/price as percentage)
  • Profit markup (eg. profit/cost as percentage)
  • Supplier

In the Product Form page, the price is recalculated every time you change the profit/margin/markup values. Conversely, the profit/margin/markup values are recalculated every time you change the price/cost values. The 'Reset' button quickly resets these fields to the stored values.

All of these fields, except the "Selling Price including tax", are also added in the Product List page. As expected, the list can be sorted by clicking the header of each of the new columns. Furthermore, the list can be filtered to display products that have a specific
cost/profit/margin/markup/supplier value. Finally, when a special price is available, the special
profit/margin/markup is shown in red color below the original values. See demo.

The fields are not visible in the public pages. They are only visible from within the Administration Panel.
