Default (canonical) Category per Product 2.x

This extension allows you to assign one default category per product. This category will be used for the canonical tag and it will also be used when the user clicks on a product as shown by any opencart module (e.g. featured product, latest products, etc.) or as displayed in the search results.

Without this extension e.g. links in the featured module to an iphone would just look like:
www.yourshop.com/iphone
With this extension you can assign the default category "phones" and hence all links to the iphone will be like:
www.yourshop.com/phones/iphone

This will drastically improve your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and it could help that your shops ranks better on search engines like google.

Simple installation.
