AutoField module is designed to automatically fill in the fields Model, SKU, UPC, EAN, JAN, ISBN, MPN and Location on the item card.


When editing (or creating new product) in the item card empty fields will be automatically filled in accordance with the specified settings.

Fields are generated on the basis of a unique product number in product_id.
You can set the prefix and specify the final number of digits (the missing digits are filled with zeros)

Available support GTIN standard when creating code (compatibility with EAN-8 / EAN-13 / UPC-A etc)
If enabled, the code will be created based on the prefix and product_id with a check digit added at the end.
If disabled, the code will be generated in arbitrary format.

Also there is the possibility of batch processing fields - directly in the module, you can overwrite all selected fields or fill only if empty.
(for example - try to add a new product and see its fields)

1. Upload archive ocmod.zip for your Opencart version in Extensions > Extension Installer *
2. Refresh the modifications cache (press Refresh button) in Extensions > Modifications
3. Install & configure AutoField module in Extensions > Modules

2. Refresh the modifications cache (press Refresh button) in Extensions > Modifications
