Installation:

1) Download the extension for show weight on product page and unzip.
2) Then go in admin panel then click on Extensions menu where click on Extension Installer menu then upload the file "show-weight.ocmod.xml" inside the zip.
3) Then goto Modifications and click on referesh button.
Done!

This extension should work with custom themes!

Tested on Opencart 2.0.1.1 with vQmod 2.5.1
