OpenCart Marketplace Quote System allows the customer to send quotations to the sellers. Under this module, a seller can see the customer’s quotation and approve or disapprove it.
The customer and seller can also add messages with the quotation. Sellers can enable a quotation on their product. After approval, a customer can purchase the product on the quoted price.
Note:
OpenCart Marketplace Product Quote System module is an add-on to the OpenCart Marketplace Module. To use this module you must have installed OpenCart Multi Vendor Marketplace
1. This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.
2. OpenCart Marketplace Product Quote System supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.






User Case
A customer is interested in buying 100 units of a product from a seller on the marketplace. The customer wants to negotiate a better price for the bulk order, so they use the quote system.
The customer clicks on the "Request a Quote" button on the product page and enters a quantity of 100 and a desired price of $10 per unit. The customer then clicks on the "Submit" button to send the quote request.
The seller receives a notification of the quote request and reviews it. The seller decides to approve the quote and sends an email notification to the customer.
The customer clicks on the link in the email to place an order for the product at the quoted price of $10 per unit.
The quote system makes it easy for buyers and sellers to negotiate prices for bulk orders. This can help buyers save money and sellers close more deals.

Sellers can enable the quote system for their products.
The customer can enter price and quantity while making the quotation.
A customer can order the seller’s product in bulk with the quoted price.
The buyer can see bulk product orders and prices.

Workflow

In the extensions section, the admin searches for Opencart Marketplace Product Quote System the extension, and installs it.

After installation, the admin can configure the module, including enabling/disabling it, and setting the sort order, name, email, and product status.
Manage products for the quote system, including adding/editing products and setting minimum quantities.
View/manage quote requests from customers, including approving/declining quotes, sending messages, and changing the status of quotes.







The seller can Add/edit products for the quote system, including setting minimum quantities.

Customers browse the marketplace and find a product they are interested in.
Click on the product page to view its details. On the product page, click on the "Request a Quote" button.



Enter the quantity and desired price for the product. Click on the "Submit" button to send the quote request.

After that seller receives a notification of the quote request.
View the details of the quote request. Approve or decline the quote request.
