What it does
This module, when enabled, causes OpenCart to automatically detect the correct template engine depending on a template file extension (e.g. '.tpl', '.twig', '.smarty' etc).

Extensions and web themes can now use both PHP-templates and Twig-templates. This allows developers to easily port old OC 2.x web themes with PHP templates (*.tpl files) to the new OC 3.0.x releases.

Installation
In the OpenCart admin backend do the following:

1. Go to Extensions > Installer and upload this ocmod.zip file
   
2. Go to System > Users > User Groups > edit Administrator and make sure the 'extension/module/template_switcher' has the access and modify rights
   
3. Go to Extensions > Extensions > Modules > Template Switcher to install and to enable this module

Further help and customized versions
This software has been successfully tested for standard OpenCart releases 3.0.2.x to 3.0.4.x. Don't use other Opencart versions with this software.
