One of the first thing a customer thinks about after a purchase is when she will receive the purchased item.

Powertrack installation on Opencart 3



Integration with Opencart is seamless. Once installed, from the order history page you add a tracking code given by your carrier and choose a carrier (ship company), they will be saved to the order history.
One interesting feature is suppose if customer ordered 2 products.. sometimes you need to send different couriers, powertrack allows you to do this.
The carrier and tracking link (that forwards to the carrier tracking page) are sent in the order confirmation email when you update order history and check the notify option.
All tracking infos and links are also displayed on the customer's My Account page, in order's history.

Predefined carriers are:

Aramex, BlueDart, Canada Post, Purolator, DHL, Purolator, UPS, Canpar, Econt, etc...
For additional ones, go to the module configuration page and add new company.



Add the 'track order' button

You can have a Track order button on your site that points to a powertrack page with a form.
Once the email + orderID filled, the user can see the tracking information.

• Set a company as default to use it automatically when you enter a tracking code but you don't select the company

Sometimes the customer does not get the tracking of order per email because of SPAM filters. By installing smshare SMS Module for Opencart, your can send automatically the tracking number by SMS when the order status is updated.
You can use {tracking_code}, {tracking_company} and {tracking_url} variables in SMS template.

❖ Short tracking url − Advanced feature (Sold Extra)



{tracking_url_short} variable in SMS is available as additional feature to allow you to shorten the URL with bit.ly service. This is useful feature when sending tracking URL by SMS because:

• Long tracking URL increases the SMS length and the cost.
  
• Long tracking URL looks ugly in SMS on customer's smartphone.
  

❖ Shipment Tracking popup on login − Advanced feature (Sold Extra)



This is an advanced feature (extra) that lets you open a popup in front of customer when she logins whenever you update order to a shipped status. Shipped statuses can be set in the module settings.
You can also add a shipment text which is clickable and points to the order list page.



❖ Filter orders by tracking number (backoffice) − Advanced feature (Sold Extra)



This is an advanced feature (extra) that lets you filter orders by tracking number. It adds a new filter field tracking code in the order list.



❖ Aftership integration − Advanced feature (Sold Extra)



This advanced feature lets you associate your powertrack tracking companies with your Aftership selected companies. Tracking numbers added in your Opencart will be published to your Aftership account. Install the Aftership Android/iOS app and enjoy the free data sync!
