Sort By Newest is an extension that allows to sort products by its added date (sorting by newest).
Compatible with OpenCart 3.x versions.

* Ability to show the newest products first.
* Simple as pie!
* There are two types of the extension to download:
1. sort-by-newest--default.ocmod.zip - use this sorting as Default sorting method.
2. sort-by-newest--additional.ocmod.zip - adds a new sorting method - Newest first.
* Does not modify system files (OCMOD).

Disclaimer
The extension has been tested with the default OpenCart structure and theme, but third-party themes or extensions may cause incompatibilities and may require additional tweaking to fix this. The developer is not responsible for this and is not obliged to fix it, but can do so for an additional fee, which is discussed separately.

Notes
Don't install the extension on the Journal theme, just use embedded instruments:
Journal menu > Skins > Product Listing > Sort Bar > Product Sort
