Purpose
OTP Bank's SimplePay makes payments incredibly easy! This extension enables you to use SimplePay as your OpenCart store's credit and debit card processor.

The extension has been written for the OpenCart Default theme, and should work with most themes that follow the same structure, nomenclature, etc.

Compatible with


Installation v 1.0+

• Upload the contents of the upload folder to your OpenCart root.
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Modifications, and click Refresh
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Extensions. Select Payments from the dropdown.
  
• Click the Green Install button next to Simple OTP Payment.

Setup

• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Extensions. Select Payments from the dropdown.
  
• Click the Blue Edit button next to Simple OTP Payment.
  
• Provide API user, API key, Merchant currency details. Select which stores and geo zones you want to enable this payment for. Select Enabled from Status dropdown. Finally, click Save.
  
• Click the Blue Edit button next to Simple OTP Payment once again.
  
• Go to the "Order Status" tab, and map payment gateway responses to OpenCart order statuses. Click Save.
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Extensions. Select Modules from the dropdown.
  
• Click the Green Install button next to Simple OTP Payment.
  
• Click the Blue Edit button next to Simple OTP Payment.
  
• Select Enable from dropdown and click blue Save button[/b].
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Design > Layouts. Click the Blue Edit button next to Success page. If using Journal 3 theme, go to OpenCart Admin > Journal > Layouts > Success instead, and click on OpenCart bar. If Success layout doesn't exist, please create one with path checkout/success.
  
• Select Simple OTP Payment to place the module, and click Save.

Important

• You must have a merchant account with OTP SimplePay for this to work.
  
• In your OTP SimplePay Sandbox, you must set IPN URL as https://yourstoredomain.com/index.php?route=extension/payment/simple_otp_payment/ipn

Update

• Upload the contents of the upload folder to your OpenCart root.
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Modifications, and click Refresh
  
• Go to OpenCart Admin > Extensions > Extensions > Payments > OTP Simple Payment {Edit}, re-enter settings (even if nothing has changed) and click Save

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does this extension work with Journal 3? Yes.
   
2. Does this extension work with OpenCart 3.x? Yes.
   
3. Does this extension work with OpenCart 1.x/2.x? No. And no plans either.
   
4. Does this allow editing Admin emails too? Yes! v1.2+ this has been added.
   
5. Which currencies are supported? EUR, HUF and USD. Your merchant account will have specific currency(ies) associtated with it, depending upon your contract with OTP Bank.
