Opencart Advance Booking and Reservation Reminder
Through Advanced Booking and Reservation Reminder Add-On, the admin can send reminder messages and emails for the bookings which the customer has made for an upcoming event.

It is a good way to notify the customers as sometimes the customers may tend to forget about the bookings which they have made; may be due to a busy schedule or it may simply slip off the customers' mind.
Keeping in touch with the customers will not only build the trust factor between the customer and the store owner but also develop goodwill amongst the customers.

The following module is an add-on of Opencart Advanced Booking and Reservation module.







Use Case
What if you booked tickets for a Hollywood movie one week before and at the last moment you forget about the ticket you had booked for the movie due to busy official meeting tours, and at last you didn't get to watch the movie.
One must make sure that our customers do not have to face such situations, and therefore sending a reminder through email or SMS about the bookings the customers have made can always be a good idea.

  • Enable or Disable the module.
  • Admin can Enable or Disable Email/SMS notification.
  • The admin can set a Reminder Difference that is the number of days when the reminder is actually sent.
  • The admin can set the Template for the SMS and Email notification.
  • Cron can be set to send the reminders at a particular time.

Workflow
Once the module is successfully installed, the user will have to add the MSG91 API Key credentials. The user can either create a new account or sign in with the existing account to retrieve the credentials. 

Thereafter, the admin can configure the module settings under Extensions>Modules>Webkul Booking Reminder
On editing the module, the admin can set the configurations under the General and the Template tabs.

Under General tab, the configurations can be set for the following- Status, Auth Token, Sender Id, Country to Send SMS, Admin Mobile Number, SMS Notification, Email Notification, Reminder Difference. 


Under the template tab, the template settings for the SMS and the Email is set as shown in the image below.


On the Frontend, the customer can place the order and proceed to checkout as shown in the image.


The example of the Email reminder which is sent to the customer for the booking is shown in the image below.


The customers will receive SMS reminders as well for the booking made as shown in the image below.
