Opencart Quick Edit and search process will allow the admin ( Store owner ) to quickly search and edit order, customer and catalog pages from the admin back end panel.
The module enables you to quickly edit the values in place without having to leave the list view and open the current item edit page so that you can save a lot of time.
Thus, the admin can observe the functionality of the multiple pages without being much involved & in turn will save precious amount of time with the help of this plugin.
This module lets you enter desired data in the fields for the order, customer & catalog pages. And based on that entered information the store owner by just a single click can filter out the individual results on that particular selected page.
Now in order to edit the items ( results )- just click on the value you want to change, select it a pop will display, change the value as per choice then hit update to save the changes. Clicking outside the edit box will cancel the edit.
Better management of the admin end configuration via Quick Search and Edit functionality.
The admin can effectively manage pages like order, customer, and catalog via Quick Search and Edit.
The Quick modification of customer-centric information like- Customer name, mail address, group and status.
The order-centric information like order status can Quickly be altered.
The admin can Quickly edit the pages in the catalog section which are- Product, Category, Option, and Manufacture.
On installing the module, the admin will configure the settings of Quick Search and Edit.
The admin configures the fields like module status, status for various pages like orders, customers, catalog ( and if catalog page status is enabled then only ) for subpages like the product, manufacturers, option & category. Also, set the status to edit items on the same page.
After configuring the module, the admin can utilize this plugin. The admin can navigate to Home>Quick Search and Edit.
Thus, here the admin can view all the pages which were enabled in the configuration end.
Now here, the admin will firstly select the page i.e. from order, customer & catalog, on which the quick search & edit feature needs to be used.
For Order Page.
If the admin wants to utilize this feature for the orders page then, firstly the admin will select the order page from the dropdown.
After that based on the order page, various attributes will be visible like order id, customer email, name, order status, etc.
After this, the admin will enter information in various fields & click on the filter button.Now based on the entered data, the admin can get a list view of filtered results.
On which then click on the value that is needed to be changed, update it and done.
For Customer Page
If the admin wants to utilize this feature for the customer page then, firstly the admin will select the customer page from the dropdown.
After that based on the customer page, various attributes will be visible like customer name, email, phone no., group, etc.
After this, the admin will enter information in various fields & click on the filter button.
Now based on the entered data, the admin can get a list view of filtered results. After which click on the value that is needed to be changed, update it and done.
For Catalog Page
If the admin wants to utilize this feature for the catalog page then, firstly the admin will select the catalog page from the dropdown on the left & will select a page from the dropdown having the product, options, manufacturers pages on the right.
Each subpage will have a different attribute and based on that the admin will get the results that can be quickly edited.
