The admin defines the number of steps for the registrations forms and for each step/ page, the admin can add fields or attributes which the sellers have to fill in.

The seller will receive an OTP on the email id, on submitting the registration form. The seller will have to add the OTP so as to verify it.

Opencart Marketplace Multi-Step Vendor Sign Up is an add-on of the Opencart Marketplace Module. To use this module you must have installed Marketplace Module.

Note:

1. This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.

2. Opencart Marketplace Multi-Step Vendor Signup module supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.

It introduces a plain sailing form filling process including multiple steps easing the things for the customers, ensuring that they do not leave the process half-way and leave.

Work Flow



On installing the module, the admin has to configure the settings of the Opencart Marketplace Multi-Step Vendor Sign Up.

For configurations settings of the module, the admin will have to configure the fields such as the status of the extension, allowed no. of steps, allowed file extension, and email verification.



Thereafter, the admin can create a new group under the Marketplace Multi-Step Vendor Signup > Group list. The admin needs to add the category name, sort order, and status of the group.



The attributes can be created for the group by the admin under Marketplace Multi-Step Vendor Signup > Group Attributes. These attributes will display under Group List, against the group created.



In the frontend, a new seller/ customers can register themselves by filling in the details included in the registration form.

The Next button present in the bottom of each step/ page of the registration form, navigates the sellers/ customers to the next page.



The last step/ page has the Submit button, on clicking which a pop up to add and verify the OTP, appears.

Meanwhile, on the email address, which the seller has added while registering, an OTP will be sent.



The seller needs to enter the OTP on the pop-up and verify it to submit the form.



A seller/ customer receives a notification on account creation and can view and edit the profile details under My Account > My Profile.
