This extensions provide easy integration for Elasticsearch engine into your OpenCart web stores . Elasticsearch is scalable open source full text search engine. This allows you to add, search, update and analyze huge volume of data quick and real-time.

This extension provides autocomplete search for the customers of your web store. Elasticsearch powers applications that have complex and huge data.

Features

1. Admin can easily enable Elasticsearch engine.
   
2. Admin can use username and password authentication for Elasticsearch.
   
3. Admin can use API key and API ID authentication for Elasticsearch.
   
4. Store products on the Elasticsearch according to the index type.
   
5. Customer can search data by product name or description and category name.
   
6. Customer can search by keywords & tags.

Note

1. In order to use Elasticsearch for OpenCart you need to PHP 7.4 or greater
   
2. and Elasticsearch version at least 7.17 and recommended version is 8.7 .
   

Installation

1. Browse to admin area -> "Extensions" > "Installer" and upload elasticsearch-for-opencart.ocmod.zip
   
2. Browse to admin area -> "Extensions" > "Extensions"
   
3. Choose "Modules" from Extension types
   
4. Find "elasticsearch-for-opencart" in the list and click on install button
   

Disable

1. Browse to admin area -> "Extensions" > "Installer" and upload elasticsearch-for-opencart.ocmod.zip
   
2. Browse to admin area -> "Extensions" > "Extensions"
   
3. Choose "Modules" from Extension types
   
4. Find "elasticsearch-for-opencart" in the list
   
5. Edit the extension and choose disable for status
   

Uninstall

1. Browse to admin area -> "Extensions" > "Extensions".
   
2. Find "elasticsearch-for-opencart" in the list and click on uninstall button.
