This plugin after installation will remove the requirement to enter the Model when posting products.
It affects the following files:
admin/controller/catalog/product.php
admin/view/template/catalog/product_form.twig
catalog/view/theme/*/template/product/product.twig
Installation
Go to Extensions -> Installer in admin side and upload your extension.
Go to Extensions -> Modifications and click refresh button
