Sometimes we do need disable one or another product on opencart web store due to out of stock or supplier is taking longer than expected for items to arrive. No matter what is the reason , but reality is that yes in one or another ocassion we do need to hide product from our stores.

But once google indexes the product or category page and user click on the link in google search results, he is redirected to PAGE NOT FOUND page on your website.

And no need to say that this is not only bad for google indexing ratings, but also if client hits non existing page it is about 99% that he simply will leave your page imidietly and continue his search further (on other websites:)

I believe you dont want it, most of us don't :) So here comes this module. Witch one will redirect users to search page with a search tag written what the missing product or category name was.

for example if user will hit macbook page not found, he will be presented with other macbooks on your website. so user will not get PAGE NOT FOUND error and more ever he may even buy the other macbook:)

Example. you disable product named "iPhone" and user visits this page . instead of seeing page not found message, user will be redirected instantly to search results related to iPhone. So instead seeing page not found and loosing a potential buyer, now your website will offer him other items related to what he was looking.

PS: the same applies to categories, if you disable X category and user will hit that page, he will be also presented with other related items to be bought.
