hCaptcha - stop more bots. Start protecting user privacy.
This module to add hCaptcha service to your store. It works as simple as reCAPTCHA .
You need to register an account to get the secret-key and site-key, then go to settings and activate it.
Very simple.
Step 1:
Use OCMOD to install or extract and upload using ftp
Step 2:
Register an account at https://www.hcaptcha.com

Step 3:
- OpenCart Admin Dashboard and navigate through the left menu bar to Extensions > Extensions and select “Captchas” from the “Choose the extension type” dropdown menu.
- After the results are listed, please click on the green “Install” button right next to “hCaptcha”.
- Enter the code you registered at hcaptcha.com and remember to select Enabled
Step 4:
- Please navigate through the left menu bar to System > Settings, switch to the “Option” tab and scroll down to the last “Captcha” section.
- When you are there, please make sure to select “hCaptcha” from the “Captcha” dropdown menu. You will also need to select the website page where you would like the captcha form to be enabled from the “Captcha Page” list. We would recommend you keep it enabled on the “Contact” form as the attacks are pretty common on it. After you are ready, please do not forget to click on the blue “Save” button at the top right corner of the page.
