The mod is a quick solution to always display your order list product and option names in your default language.
Multilingual stores receive the orders in the language used by the customer. So in your order list you would have orders in all the possible languages in your store which could be a pain. With this mod you would be able to display them in one language only - the one you set as a default admin language.

Note: add/edit function language is the active front-end language.
