Customer order confirmation emails contains pretty much all the data you could want as a store owner at a glance:
- Order details
- Customer details
- Payment details
- Shipping details
However, the default store owner's order confirmation email is in plain-text and only contains details regarding the order. We addressed this by creating an OCMod that adds to the mail functionality; such that the store owner email and admin alert email addresses are BCC'd into all customer order-related emails.
No longer will the store owner/admin alert email addresses receive the plain text order email, or have to access the Admin panel to see all the necessary order information; it's all there in one email.
