By simply using the scanner feature customer can scan the QR code and they will redirect to their WhatsApp account where they have to send a login request by clicking on Send a message they will find the login details also, customers can create an account with a default email and password. They can later update their email and password according to their preference. The admin can enable or disable link-based login and registration.

Workflow:

In the extensions section, the admin searches for the OpenCart WhatsApp Login extension and installs it.

After installation, the admin can enable/disable the module from the admin panel also the admin can also set options such as enabling or disabling link-based login/register, as per the store's requirements.




A customer visits the online store On the login page, the customer selects the WhatsApp option for Login. and click on the “Log in With WhatsApp” option.



After clicking on the "Login with Whatsapp" option on the online store, a pop-up appears on the screen displaying a QR code. The user is prompted to scan the QR code using their scanner feature.



Once the QR code is scanned successfully, the user is redirected to their WhatsApp screen. On their WhatsApp, they receive a message that provides an option to send the login registration request.



To proceed with the registration, the user clicks on the "Send" button in the WhatsApp message. This action sends a registration request to the online store.

The online store's system processes the registration request, and upon successful verification of the WhatsApp number through a token sent to the user's WhatsApp, their account is created with a default email and password.




Users can update their email and password in account settings.
