Category By Customer Group



Category will available at front end for specific customer group based only. category will not appear anywhere in your entire website if customer group not match.

Demo - Admin
• Admin > Extension > Module
• Admin > Catalog > Category
• Admin > Catalog > Category > Add/edit > Data tab

Demo - Front End
• "Shoes" Category - Only available for "Wholesale" customer group
• Login as "Wholesale" Customer Group
• Now you can see "Shoes" Category

• "Watch" Category - Only available for "Dealer" customer group
• Login as "Dealer" Customer Group
• Now you can see "Watch" Category

Features
• Category will available at front end for specific customer group based only
• Category will not appear anywhere in your entire website if customer group not match
• Bulk assign customer groups to bulk selected categories
• also you can assign customer group at category add/edit form > data tab
• If no customer group select then that category will available for all customer groups
• Only validate when category has customer group linked
• Ex : Category = Desktop - linked for "wholesale, Retails" customer group
- Category = Camera - linked for "Default, Dealers" customer group
- So Camera Category will not available for "wholesale, Retails", same as "Desktop" not available for "Default, Dealers"
- Note that : its apply for category not category linked products, customer can still see products of that category
- Ex : All customers can see the products of "Desktop" category, but cannot see "Desktop" category anywhere in your site
