In recent years, the EU has prioritized product safety in online retail. Latest result is the introduction of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). Introduced mid 2023 the directive will become effective starting December 13, 2024. This regulation seeks to guarantee that all products on the market adhere to top safety standards, thus enhancing consumer confidence in online shopping platforms.
This extension will help your online store meet GPSR compliance requirements. It will allow you to show your customers all required details about your products, related to the directive. The extension allows you to add various information, required by the GPSR directive as:

safety warnings,
information about manufacturer and importer
Declaration of Conformity (CE)
disposal instructions

All the information will be shown on your product’s page. The extension also offers the possibility to choose a presentation layout that would fit your site best.
In order to be as flexible as possible, we’ve made this extension compatible with default theme and themes with same product page structure, Journal 3 and MixBucket.

Adding the extension to the default (or similar) theme follows the same steps as any other extension and is available as a layout module as well. You have to enable the module after its instalation - by default it is disabled and the extension's menu is not visible in Catalog menu. After you enable the module, a GPSR Compliance submenu will be added, featuring several items:

Manufacturers
Importers
Responsible persons
Products
GPSRR settings.

A new tab will be added to your product page, allowing you to fill all the necessary information

In order to add the extension to Journal 3, you should follow the following steps:

Journal > Product Extras > Product Tabs > Create New
Section General > fill Module Title
Section Content > Content Type = Dynamic
Section Content > Controller Path = extension/module/wo_gpsr_administration
