This module (Order Total) provides automatic discount to any customer, who has been referred by any affiliate and used a link with any valid tracking code to access your site.

This discount can help affiliates promote your products, motivating their referrals to use affiliate links instead of accessing your shop directly. That in order will help you obtain more and better affiliates, more eager to work with your site.

You can set up global default discount, and you do not have to configure it for every affiliate separately. But you also can set individual discount amount and type (fixed or percentage) for certain affiliates. You can exclude certain affiliates by setting their amounts to 0, or allow discount to certain affiliates only by setting default discount to 0.

The discount is flexible and has many options:

• Can be percentage-based or fixed amount
  
• For fixed amount, you can configure a limit, so that the discount is never higher than certain % of total – useful for very cheap products
  
• Fixed discount can be applied to whole order or to each item, multipling the amount by the number of items in the order
  
• You can offer the discount on customer's first order only, on all customer's orders, or periodically
  
• Percentage discount can be calculated from total order price, most or least expensive product only, and can take into account or ignore product quantity
  

In openCart 2 you can give discount to users referred by affiliates, by your own Marketing Campaigns, or both

If you use openCart 1 and need to set up individual affiliate discounts, vQmod is required.

Combination with Type-in Tracking Code module ( https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=13853 ) can be quite useful – for example, your affiliates will be able to print their tracking code in booklets or flyers and advertise a discount to those who type in tracking code on the site. Both extensions are available in a bundle here with $11 total discount.

Attention openCart 3.0.3.5 and 3.0.3.6 users: OCMOD system is broken in those versions, we recommend free extension below to fix it:
